Red Rocks Festival

The International Music Festival RED ROCKS took place in Krasnaya Polyana which became part of Cultural Olympics "Sochi 2014". A huge stage with all music equipment was lifted and assembled by technical specialists at the height of 1500m on one of Sochi snow points. That day tons of kilowatts of sound (more than 100 kW) shook the snow from dormant pines and perked up everyone’s mood – from skiers and snowboarders who went to STK "Mountain merry-go-round" to the guests of the General Sponsor of the Festival - Sberbank of Russia. On that day of the second festival RED ROCKS Russian and foreign stars appeared on the stage – DJ Subwave, Nike Borzov, favorites of the Russian independent stage BI-2, crazy rock-n-rollers Voli Vidoplyasova, romantic and hardy MACHETE, yang British rockers White Lies, Norwegian electric duet Royksopp and headliners of the Festival, cultic persons of disco the American group Scissor sisters.

General Technical Partner of the highest concert of Russia RED ROCKS was "ISC "Aksioma" LLC.

Special features of the project:

• Non-typical big stage of 3 floors right on the hill side with the height drop of more than 7m.
• 100 kW sound equipment.
• More than 100 lights.
• 19 trucks of various stage equipment ("hardware") - More than 120 tons.
• Hour assembly within 14 days and removal within 7 days.
• Elevation of generators on the mountain top by helicopters.
• Elevation of equipment by funicular up to 1500 m above sea level.
• Power equipment with a total capacity of more than 500 000 kW.
